2004: Sujata Rachakonda

Ms. Rachakonda is a May 2005 graduate of the Rutgers School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. During her college career at Rutgers she also majored in Psychology with a minor in Communication.

In the summer of 2004 she interned at Merrill Lynch in their Chief Financial Office (CFO) Program and worked in their GT&S Finance division as a summer analyst. She will began her career at Merrill Lynch as a Business/Finance Analyst in July of 2005.

Sujata was actively involved with many on-campus extra curricular activities. She pledged Alpha Kappa Psi in the fall of 2001 and has been an active brother since she crossed. She served as the professional committee co-chairperson in the spring of 2002, social committee chairperson in the spring of 2003. In addition, Sujata has also served as Chapter Recording Secretary and Chapter Vice President of Operations during the ’03-’04 and ’04-’05 academic years, respectively. She was also Co-President of the Rutgers Business School Innovations Committee and a member of Little Investment Bankers of Rutgers (LIBOR). She also participated as volunteer and a dancer for the 32-hour Dance Marathon, which raised money for children with cancer and blood disorders.

Sujata is also a two time nominee of the Alpha Kappa Psi Alpha award, and two time recipient of the Ms. Omicron Tau award. In 2005, she was bestowed with the Bronze Level Distinguished Service Award – the fraternity’s highest honor for a student brother. She was also featured in the Rutgers Business School 75th year anniversary Dean’s Report.

2002: Celine Bauer


Ms. Bauer is a May 2003 graduate of the Rutgers School of Business with a bachelor of science degree in Accounting with honors. She was in the PriceWaterhouseCoopers mentorship program in the summer of 2001 and an intern in the summer of 2002. She will begin her career as an Associate Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in September 2003.

She has many college activities. First of all she was her AKPsi pledge class president in the fall semester of 2000. During her two year tenure she was also a community service chairperson, social committee member, professional development committee member, and was voted to the National AKPsi All Academic Team. She was also a founder of the Habitat for Humanity group at Rutgers University and its treasurer for four years. Her group competed in the Collegiate Challenge in West Virginia, Philadelphia, and North Carolina. She was twice a dancer in the 32-Hour Dance Marathon raising money for kids with cancer. She was vice-president of Students for Environmental Awareness for a year, and a member of the Livingston Leadership Education Among Peers Program. She also found time to participate in 10K Aids Walk and the Breast Cancer Walk.

Celine has many college honors. She made the Dean's list for seven semesters. She received Livingston College bronze, silver, and gold honor recognition pins. She was inducted in the Platinum Knights society as well as the national accounting honors fraternity Beta Alpha Psi and the Golden Key International Honor Society. She was also a Who's Who Among American College Students and a recipient of the Livingston College Scholarship.

Celine worked at the Livingston Fitness Center as a supervisor for three years, was a Scarlet Ambassador, a tutor for calculus and accounting, and a Resident Hall Advisor for two years.

We're proud to acknowledge Ms. Celine Bauer as the first recipient of the Jayceryll M. de Chavez World Trade Center Memorial Scholarship.
